Summer has definitely arrived! Yesterday I bought my sun cream and went to a bbq! We sat around drinking cider and pina colada punch and then went to Lloyds later on in the evening. Walking there, and home again a few hours later, it was still really warm! I had a pair of linin trousers and a halter neck top on and I'm usually the first person to feel chilly but I didn't even need a jacket at 12pm!! We danced around to old skool 90's tunes and what with that and the smell of suncream, it really felt like we could have been abroad on holiday!!
Earlier in the afternoon Sean phoned and we had a really lovely chat. I aired all my doubts and he basically put me at ease. We were chatting for about 20 mins and at the end of it I felt really relieved. He said that he wished he was with me then coz he'd love to be there having a bbq and chilling out in the sunshine. I told him to pray for good weather next weekend and he said that it didn't matter if it is pants. I said "oh yeah, I know why you say that!!"
He protested and said that if it is raining then he could be gentleman and give me his coat and if it is cold then he would give me extra hugs!!!
He promised that he would never treat me like shit and really wants to see me to get to know me.
I had cheek ache by the time I put the phone down!
I showed Penny that text he'd sent me and she burst out laughing. When I told her that it wasn't funny she just said not to forget that he's never had a proper girlfriend before and so doesn't really know how to talk to women.
Today has been just as lovely. I can't get enough of this sun!! I'm currently chatting with Sean online and he's got a web cam!!! But I haven't!! So I now know what he looks like!!! And I quite like what I can see!!!!
Everything is looking up (excpet that the weather is meant to be pants on Thursday but the weatherman didn't mention Friday) and I'm really so so excited!!!
