Yep, you read it right!! The countdown is back on!!! 8 days!!!!!!
Sean and I were chatting on msn the other night and I asked him when I was goint to get to see him if his leave had been changed.
"well my inbox is getting rammed with people wanting to do stuff with me so I can't make any promises til I'm home"
This left me feeling even more doubt about the whole thing. I made a joke about him not being able to fit me into his socaial schedule and he just said "Yeah of course there is room for you, I've upset people for our bit of fun lol"
Bit of fun?? "I don't know whether to be flattered or not"
"I hope flattered just make sure there's plenty of drink and sex involved"
"Is that your only incentive for coming down?"
"No, don't be stupid, I'm coming because I want to spend time with you...and get to know you as a person and see what happens out of this."
Hmm... did he just say that because he knew that's what I wanted to hear?? I spent the next 24 hours thinking about it. Feeling skeptical but still not being able to shake off the feeling of hope and excitement.
Anyway, last night he was online again. This time he was being a bit arrogent but in a jokey way (at least the hope inside me was reading the blatant arrogence as being a joke).
We were talking about the summer being upon us and the fact that it's nearly miniskirt weather. He said "watch how people's heads will turn when they see us out."
And it got better
"And you will let them know that you're mine"
Wow!!!! I'm his?? Does he really see me like that
But then..
"When we go out there will be lots of girls looking at me and that will piss you off so you'll have to let them know you're mine."
Now is that a joke or the complete kind of knobhead arrogence that I'm trying to avoid??
Anyway, he's on his way home as I write and he promised that he'd phone when he got home!!!! AND he's still coming down next Friday so the original plan is back on!!!!!!
Less than 24hours til he's home
8 days til I get to meet him.
(See the annoying glimmer of hope won't go away!!)
